MY WEEK WITH MARILYN

The life and times of Norma Jeane Baker aka Marilyn Monroe is a story that has been told a million times over. The classic rags-to-riches tale of daddy's troubled little girl looking for love in all the wrong places. All the while battling addictions to alcohol and precription meds in the glitzy and glamorous surroundings awarded to the world's biggest movie star.. blah blah blah.

We can't say that another Marilyn Monroe biopic really holds any appeal in theory, so we were pleasantly surprised when we heard that Michelle Williams was taking on the role of the world's first pinup in 'My Week With Marilyn'.

As sceptical as we are, you have to admit the film's casting does tick a lot of boxes. Along with Williams as Monroe, Kenneth Brannah plays Sir Laurence Olivier, Julia Ormond is Vivien Leigh and a list of impressive young actors such as Emma Watson, Dominic Cooper, Eddie Redmayne give this story a new lease of life.
