Who is your father and what does he do? I lied it's just me (Andrew,guitar, vox). No one else is here.
What has the band been up to since the last full moon? Writing, recording... Oh yeah, my dad. He's a financial adviser I think. Something like that.
What is your favourite Halloween related experience to date? Quite a few years ago I somehow ended up at very strange party at a very expensive house in Remuera. The party was in celebration of the removal of a cancerous uterus, which was to be burned in a symbolic fashion at the strike of 12am. A bonfire had been built in the backyard of the property and suspended above it from a heavy wooden frame was an effigy of the now cancer free party hostess. It was all a very Pagan and exciting in a Remuera, aromatherapy kind of way.
My boss at the time was there as he owned a popular Parnell cafe and reluctantly moved in these circles from time to time. He was in high spirits as an old friend of his was in town and had cleaned off a couple of bottles of red wine by the time the ceremony had begun.
The uterus was brought out from the house and placed on the fire by a succession of robed woman who now stood in a semicircle chanting. As this was happening my boss turned to some people I didn't think we'd been introduced to and said "watch this". He then proceeded to charge the bonfire, leaping into the air seconds before he reached it. Instead of elegantly sailing over the fire he crashed pelvis first into the wooden frame and effigy then tumbled into the fire itself.
He was hauled to his feet by the host of the party with an expression on his face that suggested he had no idea why he was covered in ash and slightly burnt. He was immediately ejected from the party and later told me he pissed blood for the next two days.

No's new issue is 'The Screen Issue'. What is your favourite scary movie and why? It used to be Fire in the sky. The thought of being abducted by aliens scares the shit out of me.
Who are the Prom King and Queens of your lives? Norman Mailer and Delia Derbyshire
Who is the naturally scariest looking person you can think of? The Grey Lynn cat lady with the gas mask.
What are you most afraid of? Awkward social situations that I can't escape from.
Who from your band is most likely to give 'Trick or Treat-ers' fruit instead of candy? Me.
Favourite horror movie villain? Bob from Fire Walk With Me.
Favourite Zombie from a movie? There's one in Day of The Dead that looks like my friend Anthony.
Favourite Vampire from a movie? Max Schreck from Nosferatu.
Favourite Halloween holiday spot? Twin Peaks.
Least Favourite scream queen? - Jamie Leigh Curtis, Neve Campbell or Jennifer Love Hewitt? Urgh... Jennifer Love Hewitt.
