Tim White was born in New Zealand. He began working as a photographic assistant in 1988, learning from such names as Derek Henderson, Regan Cameron and Hugh Stewart. By 1992, he made a break for London, where he remained for 11 years. Four years in Sydney followed, before New Zealand called him home. His clients have included British Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, L’Uomo Vogue, Time, and No. Last year he published his second photographic collection, True North, along with a corresponding film Whakarongomaikio.
